About Les Hutton
Les Hutton is a retired computer programmer who has probably forgotten most of what he learned in his career. These days he is likely to be found wandering the highways and byways of Europe in his old American Winnebago motorhome while living the simple life.
Variety being the spice of life, Les certainly fits the bill when it comes to work life. He has been a weaver, office clerk and owned and run a local bakery - as well as more than twenty years programming computers in their various forms.
His travel experiences include, probably the highlight of his life, sailing the North Atlantic in an old wooden sailing boat. In his forties Les 'dropped out' of worklife to live for five years aboard his beloved 'Sunseeker of Hamble' - an old David Hillyard wooden cruiser.
Some of the more memorable countries Les has been lucky enough to visit are New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Spain and Portugal. In the Caribbean he has visited Trinidad, Venezuela, Tobago, Barbados, St. Lucia and Curacao to name but a few.
Nowadays, in his golden years, he likes nothing better than capturing interesting and/or beautiful images with his camera - (oh and perhaps, maybe the odd glass or three of vino tinto).
